Why “Double” Strawberry cake, you ask? Well, the cake layers are strawberry flavored - they have mashed strawberries baked right in - AND there are fresh strawberries in between the layers, folded into the frosting. It is, perhaps, the STRAWBERRY-est strawberry cake.
