I really wonder what kind of country this is going to be, with a minority of children raised by parents who think if they don’t graduate in the top five percent of the class at the best high school in town while turning in star performances in two sports they’re going to wind up living under a bridge, and a majority running around loose because their overwhelmed single mothers or grandparents don’t really have the time or energy to keep an eye on them.
